I took a pretty long break from reading Agatha Christie. These short stories were a great way to get back into Christie's world. Miss Marple is always an enjoyable character.

I still don't love short story collections but Marple does it better than Poirot

fun enough. I think I prefer poirot but maybe just the character wore out over so many short stories. did like how she changes over the course of the stories. goes from surprising everyone by knowing people and solving crimes to being a known figure. Don't know what period of time it was written over, but makes a pretty coherent arc. she's a little bit racist.
