"My soul went into yours, and your soul went into mine. I know that you felt it, too."

Okay, that was unexpected. That's the kind of twist which is unpredictable.
I love the character of Abigail, strong independent woman who can fight back. A survivor.

"She was in a bad dream being chased through the dark."

If you want to have any affection for men left within you, don't read it. Far too close to reality. Gave me shivers.

Is it weird that the most implausible thing about the plot was the marriage?

I kinda liked the story. Even though it is not realistic and always feels rushed. It wasn't gloomy and stifling like most closed-space mysteries are. It's not as gritty.

I didn't like the ending at all, it felt too easy.

Not what I was expecting! I like page turning, suspenseful thrillers and this wasn’t one. It has gripping parts but was written quite lengthy. Good book, but not what I usually look for when I read which made it 3 stars.

couldn't decide between a 4 and a 5 but holy s**t I can barely remember when I last finished a book in one day like this. a completely crazy thrill ride with twists and turns, but nothing was ever too unexpected
