I’m not crying you are!
Hands down the best age gap romance I’ve read in a while. Why? Because there was a marriage of convenience and the issues they had didn’t just magically go away because they were in love. I liked seeing skylar sort of grow in maturity once her life started getting better. I think that was a big thing for me that led me to connect hard with the characters in this story. Five steaming stars!!!

Would this relationship be super problematic IRL? For sure. Did I enjoy this book anyway? Sure did!

The age gap is TOO MUCH to handle and I feel like all the secondary characters are left up in the air at the end but I still really loved it.

This book is one of my favorite comfort reads. I read this every year and the 4th time still hits as hard as the first. I don’t know what it is about Jude and Skylar but these 2 are just one of my absolute favorite couples. They just compliment each other so well despite the age difference. This book just feels like home and always helps me out of a slump and always just makes me so happy.
