Honestly this book was really really good. It may be the fact that I finished it at 1 in the morning but I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. It's the type of book that makes me afraid to walk to the bathroom in the dark and that it something that I love.
This book may have some major plot holes and grammar errors, and yeah, it read like a wattpad book, but I still loved it. The characters were well built in my opinion, and I loved the flashbacks and the insight that I was given with them like Rose is Shannen, the girl Clover wanted to marry. I enjoyed seeing what was happening with the other people and what had happened to lead up to everything. I felt as though I really knew the a lot of the characters and understood why they were did what they were doing. The one thing that I wish I could've had was more of her relationship with her family, not just her boyfriend but it wasn't that big of a deal.
Overall:
goods:
- characters
- thriller aspect
- psychological aspect that become apparent as I read
- multiple points of view
- flashbacks from multiple characters
bads:
- plot holes
a pocket knife can't kill someone by stabbing them once....
- grammar issues, but it wasn't horrid
- how mental health was discussed
"No one's that OCD" ummm yeah they can be actually
Overall I would rate this a solid 4.5
