Altamente recomendado. 💚

Pretty good. I think this is one that gets chalked up to interesting characters and a fairly gripping perspective, but I can't say the art ever became particularly noteworthy..

This is a beautiful example of graphic medicine. It shows someone grappling with the realities behind having a partner with HIV. It is informative. It represents people who do not fit the stereotype of people with HIV/AIDS. It demonstrates that as a society we should change the way that we perceive people with HIV/AIDS. I would highly recommend it.

a lovely autobiographical comic about frederik peeters and his girlfriend, cati. as they fall in love, cati must reveal to frederik that she is HIV positive, as is her young son. i enjoyed the thoughtful (but not sappy) treatment of what can still be a scary and taboo topic. i was also touched by frederik's relationship with "the little one" as they call cati's son. good stuff. i'd like to read more by this artist.

In the line of [book:Blankets], an intensely personal account which does evoke the love of spririt over that of the body.
