this was so unconvincing, misogynistic, pointlessly violent/ weird about violence [especially violence against women and girls & there was one black character who was a pirate who was described really racistly/trope-ly/insensitively..... the number of horrible descriptions of women & girls & an obsession with their attractiveness, their slimness was gross (also their heterosexuality lol) ... and the ending??? lol also the voice of the sea was extremely boring + unconvincing.... has laura dockrill ever seen the sea?? i feel insulted on her behalf tbh
