This book was recommended to me EVERYWHERE because of the cam girl element to it, and it's safe to say it definitely did not disappoint. It also covers mental health issues amongst men which is the first book I've ever read which covers this tricky matter - if anyone else has more recs like this, I need them! Roll on book 3.

Characters and their development were great and it's easy to insert yourself into the story, also loved the mention of characters from the previous book for continuity and also to further develop relationships between the characters.
Loved the plot line it had me gripped from beginning to end. Sara Cate knows what she's doing when it comes to a spicy scene and this book has plenty of different styles but all hot 🔥. Looking forward to the rest of this series and the rest of Sara Cate's catalogue!
Trigger warnings:
Sexual content, age gap (18+), mental illness, suicide attempt, panic attacks, suicidal thoughts, eating disorder, death of a parent, cancer

The negative. This book has possibly the worse bipolar representation I've ever read. As a person with bipolar this was actively painful to read. The book never actually calls Garett bipolar, but he is described as manic and depressive along with a host of other symptoms that I recognize as dramatized, borderline vilifying, aspects of bipolar. The part that really killed me about how Garett was portrayed is the very casual line,
I don't do meds or therapy, and I've gotten through every single one of these nasty bouts of depression without any help. (285)
Had Garett's mental health status been handled with more care and/or precision this book would easily be a 4.5-star read. I just can't bring myself to give the book a higher rating though given how poorly Garett's mental health is treated.
