Amazingly trope-subversive, with a broad cast of compelling and diverse characters. The only downside is the sheer scope of the story - with so many narrators, it becomes difficult at points to understand the story. It's an excellent ride, though.

Wonderful. Worm is the kind of story that utterly grips you. If anyone is looking for an epic narrative about morality, super powers and found families, this is the book for you. I'd say the beginning is okay, the middle is great and the ending is... controversial. I felt a bit confused about it, but I really believe wildbow pulled it all together when it came down to it (my only complaint is that it had a bit of a lull, then the pace picked up too quickly). I was debating whether it was a four or a five star, but I think that the fact that there's already stuff I want to reread speaks for itself.
* THE NEXT SENTENCES MIGHT BE SPOLEIRY*
Is this the story that turns me into a fanfiction reader again??? I need Clockblocker+Taylor content.

The plot... escalates. And then some more. You think that it can't get much bigger/worse/more dire, but it can and it does. Not sure what to rate it, though, I guess that will have to wait until Worm actually gets edited and I can read it again.
