While the author is obviously passionate about Hekate, this book in its current form comes across as a first or second draft, not a finished work. The organization of topics is rambly rather than structured and clear. Missed opportunity full of gems that you need to dig out yourself.

I read this after watching Sabrina on Netflix. It gave me some of that non-fiction information I wanted about witches irl.

learned a lot! an amazing intro to hekate, solidified her as my mother goddess, thanks to connecting multiple "coincidences" that happened in my life to her story and symbols. this was both educational and reflective. this is an incredible place to start, even when you're a completely clueless novice. i took a lot of notes for my own grimoire, and excited to see where this practice will take me. ✌️🖤

There is a lot of info in this book for someone diving into learning about Hekate. For the more experienced devotee, there isn't much to be learned new here, and there is even some information that is flawed. What I did appreciate was her emphasis on not insisting that her practice is the way, merely an option. She offers the reader a lot of angles to consider and places to enhance not just a relationship with Hekate but with any deity. Easy read, modern conversation on ancient and old practices, well sectioned.
