I loved the exploration of anxiety and PTSD. The book took the time to explore what that meant for our characters individually as well as their relationship to each other in a way that really humanized mental illness in a way that it often isn't and made them more fully fleshed out characters. Walker and Aja are so fun and flirty and real with each other; I couldn't turn away from their story once I started.

Friends with benefits to lovers with fat heroine. Aja and Walker make a deal to only hookup when one of them wins bingo—it’s an adorably fun read!

This was so unexpectedly wholesome! It's a meet cute turned friendship where they're struggling to keep their hands off each other. Aja and Walker bond over their shared social anxieties and mental disorders that lead them to being more empathetic towards themselves and learn to love each other through the pain.

The horny scenes were divine, Aja's journey to becoming more social and learning to open up her circle of close friends was really heart warming, and Walker's journey to healing from his childhood trauma was encouraging and healing.

The southern charm simply OOZES out of this book. LOVE
