A solid book! Good plot. Some jumps but nothing crazy. The dialogue was way better in this one compared to her other stuff. I breezed through it in one morning. Pretty addicting. Ends in a cliff hanger that left me wanting more.

Where has this shifting PNR romance been all my life!! It’s so hard to find an amazing shifter romance and Tessa Hale gave us one in spades! I can’t wait to start the next one.

*This is the second time I’ve read this book but the first since I started my bookish accounts. This review is a result of my recent read.*

There’s something about Tessa’s characters that I love. Somehow they always seem to blend well, even if one or two of them is acting like a dinglehopper. This story is no different and as usual it’s a comfort read for me. I love getting pulled into a world of paranormal with a female lead that doesn’t know or realize she has special abilities. However, the one difference I noticed with this story is how much the female lead has to overcome. It seems she’s got obstacles all around her and I believe that will help her character grow.

I don’t know how she does it with these first books always sucking you in and being so good. I can’t wait to read the next one.
