this series reminds me of the books i used to read on wattpad, not necessarily in a bad way,,, but particularly the writing style and plot overall. the writing felt immature but i mean the main character is like 17/18 which speaking of.. i definitely skipped all the spicy scenes because they're literally in high school and as someone in their mid twenties,, it gave me the ick. there was an overall lack of cohesiveness to the series that i think can be attributed to it being her debut series. Tessa has a few other series out that i might consider reading, i just wish they weren't all centered on characters in high school so maybe she's not the author for me

It's like reading Wattpad at 2 am under your covers on a school night. Very few redemptive qualities, but a grand ol time all around.

Ahhhh!!! I'm loving this book!!

I love Rowan and following her journey to discover she's a shifter!

I love the guys! It's great seeing how unique each of them are and I cannot wait to watch these relationships grow!

Spark of Fate

I just found this author and cannot put her books down! This book is about a girl who is grieving her sister’s death and moves across the country. In Washington, she discovers her mates and starts finding out who she truly is. I absolutely adore Rowan and her mates. I feel for her as her parents push her away and she feels alone in the world. I hope that the bond continues to grow and that everything settles between the mates so that they are truly able to open up to one another. I’m excited to read the next book of this series!

This is just as good as all the other books written by this author, granted that they're all do very simular, they're still interesting to read. Rowan went through a really bad time with her parents who adopted her and she found comfort in Lucas, Keene, Vaughn, Holden and Anson who turned out to be her mates. They'd do anything for her and it shows in this books how deeply they care.

This felt like the Twilight fanfic of every 30 year olds dream, the one where she chose Jacob cold course.

Loved it, super easy read, ready for more books with these characters.

I expected more spice from a RH, which is why I docked this a star, but I can also appreciate the slow burn.

Team Jacob
