Hailey is relatively new to the area and determined to make her Salad shop business thrive.
Wes recently moved to California from New York for his family & just wants to partner with his brothers on investments. After a very bad “meet cute”, the two eventually become friends… and more…

Friends to Lovers trope can be one of my favorites because you get to see the relationship build. I absolutely adored the relationship between Hailey & Wes, both as friends and as lovers. I cried when they had their predictable break up (breakup was predictable, but what caused it was not) and I cried again when they got back together.

Definitely a 4 star read - I really enjoyed it and did not want to put it down.

Sophie Sullivan is a fantastic author, whose writing style hits me right in the feels. This is a third part to a series, but each book is a standalone. And doesn’t necessarily rely on the previous book. Just don’t read this one first.

Very likable characters from the main characters to the friends & family all so supportive &  I’m a sucker for friends to lovers. & yes yes yes I love a dual POV Wes & Hailey are so cute.

I had no idea this was a series and tbh I couldn’t tell so it’s good to read even if you haven’t read the rest. I definitely want to read them now!
Wes is the last of the Jensen brothers to get a 📕

Adorable story definitely what I was looking for. I love rom-com’s slow-burn so worth it!
Beautiful, sweet and pace was good not any slow moments which is good kept time engaged the whole time.

I absolutely love the narrators she brought the book to life! Thank you NetGalley & Macmillan audio for the ALC!

The story follows Hailey Sharp, who had just moved to start a new life opening a salad shop. One day she has an unpleasant meeting with Wes Jansen, when he mistakes her for someone else. Soon after that they get to know each other more and develop a friendship that later leads to something more complicated.

This book has one of my favorite tropes, friends to lovers so I was very excited to read it. When I first requested the book I didn't realize that it was set in the world with 2 other books by Sophie Sullivan, all following the Jansen brothers. I loved reading this book so much and I can't wait to read the others. This book doesn't have to be read with the others and it can act as a stand alone. But we do get some insight on the other brothers and their relationships so if you want the full experience I would read them all. I will!

The only thing that I would suggest, was to actually be able to read about Hailey's dates with Seth. I really wanted to experience her going on the dates and seeing her realize how she actually started to care about Wes a lot more. I feel like the plot of the story follows Hailey more, but the romance aspect of the story seems to follow Wes a lot more.

This was a great read and I will be reading the other books!!! I would recommend this to anyone that might want to read a friends to lovers trope

Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

First off, I had zero clue that this was the third book in a series. I even went back after finding that out and from the description it isn’t clear.
That aside, it seemed like it would be a cute story but boy was I wrong. I kept waiting for it to get to the cute part but I was more interested in Hailey’s business than anything else. I was so checked out that I actually checked out at 58%.
Sweet story but it’s just not me.

I received an Advanced readers copy of this book thanks to NetGalley, Overall I enjoyed this book, it’s my favorite of the three in the series. I wish things were a little more spicy once the main characters finally fell for each other, it felt like there was a lot of build up to it and then the chemistry was kind of stagnant after that. I also didn’t love that Wes kept making the same mistakes over and over, by the last time I was ready for Hailey to give up on him. I liked that we got to see some happily ever afters of the previous book characters and I really liked independent Hailey. I especially loved the first half as the characters are being friends and not realizing they’re falling for each other. I’d give this book 4 stars.
