This volume really showcases how Deku has changed and started putting everyone else's expectations on his shoulder. He's consumed by his desire to protect everyone and it comes at his own expense. It's heartbreaking to see though the end of this volume has a glimmer of hope.

I just wanted to give Izuku the biggest hug all the way through this volume. He had so much on his plate and was trying to protect everyone but himself! The ending was unexpected but the best!
