ahh loved this. i love this world and these characters. the atmosphere is 10/10 and the writing is gorgeous. i definitely had a specific ship i was rooting for but honestly now i’m just team guinevere and her happiness. i’d be totally fine if she ended up with no one and was just living her best life. i NEED book 3.

I love the friendship between Lancelot and Guinevere. The twists and plots slowly weaven between the lines are amazing. Mordred is my favourite character, I do not know where I am standing with him. I cannot wait to read book three.

Me every time Mordred appeared
description
Overall this book was pretty great. We were able to see more character development and it had a loooot more action than the previous book. Still, I don't like Arthur and there were some parts I wanted to slap everyone in their faces. Other than that I enjoyed this book a little more than the first one. And I also need to say #TeamMordred (or maybe #TeamLancelot) but definitely not #TeamArthur,

This one was a bit confusing and the threads White was trying to weave didn't exactly fit together nicely with the ending, which is why I didn't go higher. Still, it's fun to see this twist on the King Arthur legends, Tristan and Isolde, and a bit of real history with Rhoslyn's crew's brief appearance again.

Also, what are you up to, Mordred?
