The Wolf of the Woods
I enjoyed this book overall. I love retellings and was super excited for this Little Red Riding Hood retelling!
I loved that it was a little twisted and dark. I also loved that it touched on Viking gods.
It needs just a little bit of editing as there were a few typos. But nothing crazy.

It’s a historical dark romance retelling of Red Riding Hood, where the Wolf is not the villain but the hero to Lux.
Has a blend of Norse and Christian mythology.

I love ❤️ Savvy's books, so when I saw this I had to jump in!
Just an FYI there are some triggers: blood play, murder, kidnapping.
I love the little red riding hood story so when I saw this twist I said 'yes please'
Lux is exactly what I would picture someone in her position would be like. Also, she is kind of bad ass, or really bad ass.
Fenrir is sexxy ❤️ do I really have to say more. A sexxy wolf

This was a super easy and fun read. There is VA I love named Bourbon Neat and this gave me the same vibes as him. Fenrir is so growly and burly

Wolf of the Woods is a historical dark romance with a whole lot of spice! 🌶🌶🌶 You get a badass female MC and a sexy shape shifting warrior. (I ❤ Fen) When they get together it is 🔥 🔥 🔥. I loved the spiritual essence to the story as well.
This book had a lot of firsts for me. Blood play, shape shifting, murder and it was my very first Little Red Riding Hood retelling! The story was fast paced, intriguing and the characters were easy to fall in love with.
The author does warn of trigger warnings so check out her site for those she listed before you dive in.
BTW, I loved and laughed at the scene with the minister! It was my favorite to see Lux put on that show in an act of defiance.

I am a huge fan of retellings and this Little Red Riding Hood retelling is just exquisite. I absolutely loved Savvy's writing style with this story - it was a refreshing and different take on this story.
The man. The myth. The Legend. The Wolf of the Woods. This story was just hot. I read it way too quickly and wish I had more of these two characters.
