This beautifully illustrated picture book asserts that the main character will continue to imagine and create, no matter what.

What a wonderful book, a perfect melding of story and illustration. This would have so many uses in the classroom, and I liked it even more after I read the note from the author and artist in the back. I think this does a great job of conveying a meaningful message that I hope will stay with readers.

I had not heard of this book until it appeared in Colby Sharp's five favorite picture books of 2018. I'm so glad I watched his video.

I am in love with this book. I wish I could give it 10 stars instead of only 5. Everyone who loves to create must read it over and over again!

This was beautiful. Having a passion, believing in yourself, and doing anything you can and using any resources you can find to keep working toward your calling/creativity.

This is a beautiful book! The words, the illustrations and the sentiment. It is an all-around lovely and moving tribute to expression and creativity. Definitely one of my favorites of the year so far.

Amazing kids book with simple but compelling text. The illustrations are beautiful, and match perfectly with the book.
This was originally a library book, but it was loved and read so much that we had to buy one of our own.
Easily a favourite in our house.
