Brooke writes in an approachable style with an authentic voice. She’s never preachy. For me there weren’t a lot of new ideas to ponder but I found the book enjoyable. It was a good reminder to find your why and I will take this exercise with me as I think about the changes I want to make in my own life.

I find her vulnerability refreshing. I will begin my own slow process for sure. But as someone who has already found mindfulness there was a lot of repetition.

If I could give this book more than 5 stars, I would. It was amazing. I recently purged almost half the books I own, but I am going to buy a copy of this. It’s definitely one I’m going to want to reread over and over again.
