It’s good. I think at the time it was written 15ish years ago, It was a bit more taboo, and maybe that explains the sort of handholding feeling I had reading this. but nowadays a lot of the tips did seem more mainstream. And I do think the Overton window for some of the social stigmas and other things has thankfully shifted.

I’d hope we are to the point that we all understand that arousal is much more than just a physical thing. But given the quality of the sex education I was given at school. Maybe this should be a required supplementary read for all curious adults.

Good info, bit overdone at times, but definitely recommended read for the guys (and girls) out there. I think if you’re curiously reading a review of this book on Goodreads, you should just go ahead and pull the trigger. I probably wouldn’t shout this book from the rooftops though.

Helpful, useful, interesting, and funny. Good for virgins and experienced people alike. I read this together with a partner - surprisingly intimate and effective!

this book is actually pretty decent and not as textbook-y as I imagined it would be. the writing was fun and fresh, which made this easy to get through.

This checks out. Very similar resources to my human sexuality textbook. Well researched.
