I love Pres. Uchtdorf, and I absolutely adore this talk. It gives me hope and strength. It's such a great reminder that we're daughters of God.

This is just a short, little book, mostly geared toward Young Women. However, I think any woman can take alot from this book and apply it to their daily lives.

I really needed to hear the message that President Uchtdorf had for me in this book. No good thing comes without adversity. I need to better myself in order to receive the blessings I have been promised. I loved this book!

It's been one of those leave-class-early-with-a-panic-attack-and-hang-around-the counseling-center days, and at last a reason for happy tears. It's going to be okay.

What a beautifully designed book!

Although I don't feel the script is well balanced with the serifed font, the book is laid out sumptuously and the illustrations and scrapbook elements are lovely. Sheryl Smith did a fantastic job, as did the illustrators.

As for the message, Brother Uchtdorf is a masterful storyteller. This book may have been intended for the young women, but I needed to read it. He spoke about matters that weigh heavily upon my mind when I consider the happiness of my daughters. I am not sure how to reach them and help them be as excited about the gospel of Christ as I am. I am nowhere as eloquent or gentle as Brother Uchtdorf, and I could use examples.

His message is simple. Adversity in life is part of the plan, but that we all can earn a "Happily Ever After" when living through our trials by adhering to Christ's teachings and not following the ways of the world. Our "Once upon a time" is now.

Excellent book.
