The book moved pretty quickly and i enjoy mysteries but i felt like there was too much going on. Some aspects were dragged out (the scavenger hunt and visit to the bar) while other important details were barely explained.

Little White Lies follows the story of Sawyer Taft. One day, her estranged grandmother shows up to her house and offers her a lot of money to come and stay with her and participate in the debutante season. Sawyer agrees. While participating Sawyer soon meets Lily, Sophie-Grace, and Campbell, other girls participating in the deb ball. Sawyer soon becomes involved with missing pearls, searing for her father, and participating in criminal activity.

I rated this novel a 3.75 because it reminded me of a cleaner version of 'Pretty Little Liars'. This book is perfect for YA and does a great job at dissecting friendship and family. This novel took me a long time to fully get into. The only reason I stuck with it is because I like Jennifer Lynn Barnes' writing style. However, the beginning of the book is tough to follow as it jumps back in time and then has short scenes in the present time. There are many characters introduced at the beginning of the novel that it can be a bit overwhelming and tough to follow. HOWEVER keep reading! It will get worth it around page 180!
