I am not typically a huge coinsure of memoir novels. I was intrigued to pick this one up to do being an avid ICarly watcher back in the day and hearing all of the rave reviews for this novel. Jennette does a wonderful job of taking you through a massive chunk of her life in detail. I will say please read TW before undertaking this novel and it does discuss some sensitive topics. Overall a wonderful book. It was hard for me to imagine all of the trauma that Jennette experienced while she was younger and actively taking acting roles. I am glad that she was willing to share her story with the world and hopefully individuals can learn from what she experienced and went through.

wow this was something… a heartbreaking read especially because i watched her shows and enjoyed them. i hate that she had to go through that and it makes it even more incredible that she wrote about it in such an “i want to keep reading” way!
