I can't say I *enjoyed* this book because it was one of the most depressing memoirs I've ever read. But I do greatly appreciate how vulnerable and open McCurdy was with her readers. It was a really raw and personal look at mental health, toxic families, childhood fame, sexual assault, and other trauma. It also is the best example of how much you never know what someone is going through. I watched Jennette as a kid and would never have guessed this was her life behind the scenes. I'm really proud of how much progress she has made and how much she has overcome.

5/5. Didn't finish this, but don't take that to mean I didn't like it. Because it's so incredibly well-written. I've never watched iCarly (as with most things Nickelodeon, I was a PBS kid lol), but I'm still glad I read (most) of it. I would have finished it, but I just wasn't in the right mindset to keep reading.
