I love Benji Nate's art style, color palette, and her primary use of women as main characters. This book does all of those things, but is definitely shorter on the plot side, as it is the first installment in a series. I would have liked for the mystery to be a little more flushed out, but that will probably happen in the next issue for this story.

Hell Phone was entirely camp. The haunted Ouija-board-turned-flip phone was a super fun reversal on the classic horror trope that propelled the characters into many entertaining situations. The art style matched the author's tone perfectly. My only critique is that I thought it ended too quickly without any plot resolution! It just misses 4 stars for me.
