While I enjoyed the premise of the story and I did finish the book, there were just too many issues to give it a rating any higher than this.
There were not only some spelling and continuity mistakes. But mostly the dialogue and actions of the characters read quite juvenile which I did not expect in a RH romance.
The dog and kid bumped the score up though, they were cute and wholesome.

The men who take Avery and Chloe in each have their own rough pasts and current issues to overcome leading to an incredible story of growth and overcoming trauma.
Chloe was such a great highlight to this story too! She made an epic sidekick for her mom and the guys both!

This slow burn why choose had all the elements I was looking for. I read this in a few hours, and the character and plot building was superb. There are mentions of DV, so check triggers - but I will recommend this time and time again. Chloe stole the show for me in this and the relationship between the 5 had me laughing and crying
