Like visiting old friends, it's always great to return to this sunny Texas island and catch up with the unique characters Ms. Faver writes about. This time around, although Christmas should be a time of peace and goodwill toward mankind, trouble rears its ugly head. With an abandoned baby, the return of an old foe, and the death of an unlikable woman, the police and residents alike are all dealing with more than just the usual quest for the perfect gift. Filled with love, humor, and mystery, A Sandcastle Christmas is a wonderful addition to The Edge of Texas Series!
