First of all. *Fan girl mode on*Omg omg omg Four!!! Finally a book from Four's perspective, and more will be coming!!! *twirls* *Fan girl mode off*

This book was really short (kind of sad about it, but the fact there will be more books makes up for that), but it was really full with information.

We begin with Tobias/Four when he just had his test to see what faction he would be good for. We get up and close with his violent and crazy dad (seriously that man is crazy, being in this faction and being so violent), poor Tobias.

Then we get the whole choosing ceremony and we know how that ended.

It was really fun to read about Four, to find out more about him and how everything started for him, to see his pain, to see him fight against his father and his destiny/faction.

I personally can't wait for more of Four's perspective books!

I loved this book! It was amazing! I love reading from Four's perspective! Tobias "Four" Eaton is a vulnerable, lonely person, but underneath all that lies the strength that helps him through the days of abuse he received from his father, Marcus. I absolutely loved the part where Four said that he knows Tris's family! Ahhh...he knew her family....OMG!!! I thought it was great to see Tori help him out as she does with Tris in Divergent! I think it makes it more symbolic to the type of person Tori is! I love how he got his new name "Four" from his mentor, Amar. I love that fact that we got to see into him going through the fear landscape for the first time! I love that the book shows his life in Abnegation with the abuse he sustained from Marcus and why he decided to choose Dauntless! I love that we understand his mother! I LOVE YOU, FOUR!!!! Can't wait for the last three stories to come out!!! This book taught me to how to overcome my fears.

I loved reading more about Four. Sometimes in the main books his opinions and choices are a little confusing so to be able to look at things from his perspective is cool. I can't wait for the other short stories to come out too.

I wanted to give it 3.5 because it's just not long enough.... but it was a satisfying little story so I rounded up.

I enjoyed this as much as I did Divergent and Insurgent. Generally, no new material, but great to hear it from Four.

I was really hoping for a little more depth on this one - more of four's story. I was disappointed.
