Yall really overly sold this.

I’m so confused on what I just read compared to everyone else. I’m not yucking anyone’s yum. But YUCK!

But if I never have to hear the words brat or triangle shaved hair again it will be too soon.

And girl honestly SO MUCH RAZOR BURN.

A whole star taken off for lack of plot.
A whole star taken off for the CRINGIEST spice!
A whole star taken off for literally no story, character development and it was like we forgot the whole the Eaton family except for like 4 pages thrown in.

Came for Beau but fell in love with Bailey so hard. My girl is hilarious and she knows what she wanted. I stan. I feel so bad for her and i feel like crying everytime she questions when people treats her nicely. Ughh she deserves the world.

My man Beau, i love how Bailey constantly humbles him and it’s so amazing to watch him in his healing journey. I love the mental health representation in this book so much and i think Elsie did a very good job. I love how realistic this book is.

I am so sad to finish this series. I will miss everyone especially Harvey. My love for that man is insane and i am happy he’s also happy.

This series is definitely one of my favorite series of all time and i will not stop recommending it to everyone ♥️

Beau is definitely my favorite hero on this series. Bailey is a strong and lovable character.
This book was a good ending to the series, I loved it!

There's something about the way Elsie writes that can make an incredibly obvious storyline still very compelling to read.

I’ve really enjoyed the Chestnut Spring series. Beau and Bailey are one of my favorite couples. The lack of filter Bailey had with Beau was refreshing. With age gaps I sometimes feel like the FMC is immature and can be ditzy, but I didn’t get that vibe from Bailey (even though a lot of her personality was all about sex). And I loved Beau looking out for Bailey!

Those two had so much to deal with on their own, but were so caring and vulnerable with each other. It was so sweet. I love how they each continued to show up for each other, even in the smallest of ways.

And that secret info that was revealed, I didn’t see it coming! I’m normally better at picking up on things like that but it came as a surprise to me, too.

All that being said, I feel like there wasn’t a whole lot of plot and they fell in love so quickly (especially Beau) without knowing a whole lot about each other. And the whole reason for them being fake engaged was so his family got off his back and people respected her, but I felt like none of that even happened. The last 25% made it a 4⭐️ for me, otherwise I would have said 3-3.5⭐️.
