“You sleep in the candy shop every night, and you want me to believe you’ve never thought of tasting the candies?”

Nikki is a grinch but even the grinch doesn’t like being alone at Christmas. She’s a strong independent woman who doesn’t have time to date.

Her sister’s engagement to her dream man sent her over the edge, so this year she decides it’s time to call in the big guns because she can’t spend this Christmas alone. Swiping on the newest dating app until she finds exactly what she’s looking for.

Her job gives her access to an endless list of actors to choose from and she settles on hiring a boyfriend to get her family off her back. Missing business and pleasure isn’t so easy when that Christmas magic behinds to rub off. Picking the perfect man comes to bite her in the butt!

A cute little Christmas read packed with family drama, friendship, relationships and lots of mistletoe! I didn’t realise this was apart of a series, luckily it can be read as a stand alone

This was exactly what I wanted from a Christmas book: sweet, romantic, funny, and swoony. I don’t think I will ever get over the fake relationship trope and this was just so pure. The main characters were so fun to get to know and I enjoyed all the gimmicks so much. Aw this was just a great time!

Once again such a simple and cute Christmas story. Kinda bizarre and out there but just right for the length and story.

This was an incredibly cute and festive take on the whole fake boyfriend trope. Having never read this author before I was delightfully impressed with her writing style and ability to suck me into the story and fall in love with the characters with ease. I absolutely recommend this book to anyone looking for a quick, fun, and sweet holiday read.

A cutesy Christmas rom-com ☃️

I listened to the audiobook performed by Tami Raistrick.

This story was fun and and enjoyable tale. It read like a cheesy rom-com that leaves you smiling at the end. The story was a bit predictable, but I still enjoyed it.

Tropes:
- fake dating
- grinch FMC
- fade to black
- HEA

Lemmie sit with this because I have to figure out a nice way to explain that every single character in this book needs therapy, and it felt like it was written by 2 preteen girls.

Cute. Short and cliche but cute.
