Funny and an easy read. If you grew up in Britain watching the iconic film, you'll probably enjoy the book now(although the story is a bit different).
Not a great deal of actual story content, but enjoyable all the same. Something if you want a quick, lighthearted read.
In general, it hasnt aged very well, but if you take it as of its time and remember the main character is a 14 year old, it definitely feels true to life. Its not offensive, just some of the views (albeit from a teenager) are a bit dated.

Of its time. First time reading it. I can see why it was popular when released but definitely doesn't hold up well.
Georgia lacks redeeming qualities and acts pretty poorly without any self-awareness or consequences.
Lots of problematic behaviours (sexual assault, homophobia, body shaming) presented without context.
