Easy to read and icehockey's a fun sport, that's why the books rated so high

This book is so good. Garret is one of the best men he makes Hannah feel safe and never forced her to do anything he also fell first. Hannah and garrets relationship is gold. There isn't to much sports stuff that's it's  just a sports book. The boys also have such a good friendship that's so supportive.

The Deal was exactly what I was expecting it to be, and it didn’t disappoint.

HOWEVER, as a singer I could not get past the misuse of music theory jargon. Like damn, I don’t expect an author to be an expert on every interest their characters have, but wow it was distracting. Luckily it stopped pretty early in the book, but oof it hurt my heart. That’s what kept this from being a four star book.

What kept this from being a five star book was mostly the lack of trigger warnings and the casual  misogyny. The spice was good, the relationship development was good, I liked the balance of plot and romance, and I loved the strangers to enemies to friends to lovers pipeline! But please, read trigger warnings before you read this book.

All in all, I really enjoyed this book and will probably read the rest of the series at some point. 3.5 stars.

Unfortunately this book was not as captivating and good to me as expected and I will not continue reading the series. However, I felt as if the second half was way more interesting and it was nice to see the characters’ developments. Additionally, the topics it tackles are important and I believe many college students can relate to them.

4-4.25⭐️ this was my school read but did i end up reading this outside of school AND in my history class. yes yes i did.

okay first off let me get this off my chest. i love garrett graham. literally love him to pieces. every man should be like him. garrett graham can sweet talk to me all day and i wouldn’t complain. i mean. you CANT complain.

hannah was such a fun mc. like i would hang out with her AND i want to hear hannah sing. i literally need to know what the hype was about. because you’re gonna tell me she’s fine, can pull, and can sing.

also i loved my side characters. y’all know how much i love my side characters. freaking tucker and logan have my heart idc. and allie was a real one.

anyways this book was a really cute NA book and addressed a lot of issues like (tw: abuse and rape) it was a very memorable book. now will i be reading the other books in the series??? oh no definitely not i appreciated this as a stand alone :) garrett graham supremacy <3
