I started this masterpiece at some point last year but found myself in a reading slump for many months. I came back to it a few days ago and have been in love with it since! I don't typically write reviews and my laptop died so I'm constructing this review on a borrowed iPad and therefore will keep it brief.

I've always loved traveling.. "adventuring" as I like to call it. So this book enchanted me and I loved the beautiful imagery it created for me. My great grandparents came to America by boat from what used to be Czechoslovakia and I have always dreamt of learning more about different places in the world.. it was a pleasure to join Saskia and Saul on their adventures! It is also believed we are the descendants of Roma gypsies so that also added to the intrigue.

As others have said it was fascinating to read a book with the narrator being a male and his view of the main female character.. I very much enjoyed the dynamic.

Thank you Roman Payne for this pleasure in reading your novel <3
