Corruptible by Brian Klaas--Here, Klaas looks at the nature of power itself and of those who are drawn to it. By interviewing cult leaders, government officials, and CEOs, and drawing on scientific analysis, he puts together a framework of maintaining power well and selecting good (or at least, avoiding selecting bad) leaders. It's a straightforward but compelling book. Thumbs up.

Some of the content in here was excellent. Actually, most of the content was really interesting and well researched. I think it’s a hard topic to talk about and because of that it’s a hard topic to read about. Sometimes I was bored and not fully invested. I don’t think it had much to do with the writing or the material, I think it’s just the type of content that I have to be in the right headspace for. I would recommend  this book, however I do think you have to be very interesting in learning and non-fiction in order to enjoy this book

I was required to read this for a class but it was really interesting read! The authors makes some really interesting points about power and its dynamics in modern society and they were thought provoking
