I love time travel stories, and this was no exception. Even though I can see the story as a set up for what will come afterwards, the book stands more or less on its own. I'm willing to know more about all the characters, specially Leslie, Gwyneth's best friend and the ghosts.

I enjoyed this despite the fact that it's very definitely YA, and is really the first third of a single book. So warnings for a cliff hanger.

Pros: I'm just gonna say that this book is REALLY adictive. Probably not the best book out there, but it definitely keeps you interested until the very end, AND THERE ARE SO MANY MYSTERIES UNSOLVED! So now I obviously need to finish this trilogy.

Cons: I don't believe the love story, don't know why, I think it escalated way too quickly, one second he doesn't like her at all and the next one he's in love with her? Really?

What a freakin delightful YA romp!

It’s very much a setup book and the protag is a little bit of a ditz, so it’s not quiiiite a 5 star read. But it was entertaining and I am *so* invested in this secret world of time travellers and family drama!

I am positively eating up the costumes and enemies-to-lovers vibes too. Super keen to keep reading!

I loved this book. I read it and knew the second one was coming out. I bugged my librarian at school everyday asking when the next one would come out. It's fast paced, fun, entertaining and witty. I would read this if you want a quick and entertaining read.
