Eh. I don't like really stupid female leads that are also virgins and extremely inexperienced but then "absolutely loves" the severe pain and other crazy stuff instantly. No issues with the writing I just don't like the trope. It wasn't the one I was expecting

Avina (h) enjoys the darkness of Halloween and finds herself in her own dark tale when men she dates wind-up dead. She realizes that her own crush on her brother’s best friend, Nyx (H), is reciprocated ten-fold with Nyx prepared to take out anyone he deems a threat to his relationship with Avina. Plenty of dark heat between the two, including rough sex, primal play, breath play, knife play, scarification, and more. Avina is ultimately just as dark as Nyx, taking pleasure in the actions he takes to secure her for himself. They both have troubled pasts that have shaped them to be drawn to and to feed one another’s dark desires. Hot and steamy Halloween stalker dark romance.
