My soul mate purchased this for me knowing I would love it! I didn't listen to the podcast beforehand but after reading this I think I am going to. I took a two week break reading this because I got wrapped up in other books. I am glad I got back into it tonight.

When Mitch said he found porn sexier when the actors seem like they were in love, I felt that. [b:Bubble|55284969|Bubble|Jordan Morris|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1600090252l/55284969._SX50_.jpg|86266237] actually made me laugh and I enjoyed a male character. Mitch was so cool and weird. I loved him. The action was good, the plot was easy to follow, and the characters actually had flaws.

I really hope there is a second part to this!

This is a fantasy story about Morgan and her friends Annie and Mitch who live in the fictional world of The Brush. In The Brush, monsters are free-roaming and humans are the endangered species. Morgan is accidentally involved when a monster nearly kills a food delivery guy, and she helps him transform into a mutant who can keep the monsters at bay. This story is told in a graphic novel (comic book format) and for that reason was an easy and quick read. I enjoyed it. I am giving it four stars.

Wonderfully illustrated graphic novel full of millennial jokes. Loved it cover to cover.

This turned out to be a plesent surprise. It was a fun ride even though there isn't much of a story. It reads like a grab bag of episodic quirky moments.
