Ummmmm. WHOA. Holy time travel. I love a good time travel story, but this one is pretty depressing. I'm really glad I've got book 3 available because I'm not sure I would come back to this series if I had to wait for the next book.

I am so thankful all the books in this series is out because I am telling you now that cliffhanger would have drove me crazy. This book made me want to cry and scream at moments. Forsure read the TW and allow yourself a break in between. Most books don't make me cry but this book towards the end made me want to cry and I feel like I became determined to finish because sitting on those emotions would have sent me into a dark mood. The spice was a 3/5 for me because it wasn't as much or even as hot as in the first book but it was the only light in this emotional storm that is this book. Yes I would tell you to read it and yes it's worth every heartbreak.
Graphic: Eating disorder, Panic attacks/disorders, Suicidal thoughts, Toxic relationship, Vomit, Injury/Injury detail, Self harm, Sexual content, and Mental illness

“Love can be an epic tale or a dark tragedy. Our choices will shape the outcome. Sometimes, in order to fix what has been broken, one must make the greatest sacrifice and shatter it all.”
this book feels like being slapped around with someone that has a bunch of heavy duty rings on. also a LOT of whiplash. HOLY FUCK.
at one point this book had me viscerally screaming into my pillow. that’s the first time a book has made me do that. i’ve laughed out loud, ive cried, ive squealed… but screaming into my pillow is a new one!
their love story is not an easy one.

book two of the time after time series. This book wrecked me and the author did nothing to fix it. So many issues could have been fixed if one or two sentences were added and that grind my gears. This just felt….senseless. There could have been tragedy without a fucking miscommunication trope.
