As of right now this is my least favorite story of the series. The storyline behind the cop was intriguing and added more to the plot when i became bored. There were moments I was a bit bored and uninterested with the plot, however towards the end I began to become intrigued how their HEA would go. But it’s nice to see two people who think they aren’t worthy of love come together.

The third book in the Brutal Birthright series by Sophie Lark was definitely a great addition to the series. Although it was not entirely what I expected, I really enjoyed it! This story follows grease monkey, Camilla Rivera and one of the bad boy sons of the Italian mafia, Nero Gallo. Both are struggling with their own demons in their past and unfortunately in their present but they find unexpected commonalities and comfort in each other.
I’ve enjoyed all the books in this series and this third book did not disappoint! The previous books were very much focused on mafia matters and this was a new spin with outside influence. Another aspect of this that I highly enjoyed was the two main characters’ love of cars. Nero and Camilla are absolutely perfect for each other and I’m so glad I was able to enjoy this book! Sophie Lark did a great job once again.
