“life is too many strange and beautiful things to use it being unkind to yourself.” she said. “people will try to make you into somebody you’re not. even the people who are supposed to love you for who you are. sometimes it feels like it would be easier to become that person. but that won’t make you happy. and if you can, being happy is the most important thing. so do what you have to so that the world does not get you.”

i don’t have a lot of words right now, but I loved this book so hecking much, music is magic and this book reflects that, anything band and music related just makes me sob. also, i absolutely adored the characters, seeing them fuck up, seeing them grow, seeing them learn and fix the past mistakes they made. I really hecking loved this book !!! and it made me cry a whole lot, so that’s a thing too
