Really wish this book had come with trigger warnings.

It’s not a bad story but the depictions of rape, domestic violence, assault, etc. against all of the femme characters started to feel gratuitous. Almost DNF because it was painful to read. I understand that it’s about overcoming generational trauma and female empowerment and the heart of the book is there but it dwelled too much on the abusive men for me.
