Anyone interested in the collapse of Sam Bankman-Fried's house of cards should check this out versus the fawning portrayal of a misunderstood genius that Michael Lewis delivers. It's pretty clear Bankman-Fried set his ethics aside for potential gains under the banner of 'maximizing good' for the most people—ie, it's real easy to scam if you say you're doing it for good reasons. Michael Lewis' fawning profile falls apart when FTX collapsed because he was writing a different book entirely—one that would have been a fawning profile of a misunderstood boy genius had his scams not caught up with him.
