Not very focused and it takes the two stories included in the text as if they were truly ancient. This book is over 100 years old, so that is to be expected. Based on later scholarship it seems highly unlikely to think that the "Celtic" dragon myth is of indigenous "Celtic" creation. It seems to follow a lot of medieval themes, making it more likely that this story was the result of cross-pollination between Irish or English monks and classical knowledge. My guess is that the stories of Fraoch are the same, though they seem a little more authentic.
