Boy was this hard to finish. I could not get into the story line or the character development. It felt haphazard in many ways. I powered through for the sake of my reading challenge but was very tempted to just abandon it for another title.

I enjoyed the fact that this book avoided a lot of the main fantasy tropes. At times the setting changed abruptly which I found jarring but in a good way.

Cute! Not amazing and a bit rushed in my opinion but I enjoyed the story nevertheless

Leprechauns?

So Tommin is a Leprechaun in training . . . The background story was great. The fact that it jumps forward from the 19th to the 21st century . . . Even better. I liked it.

A sweet, solid story of thirst and treachery and teenage bliss.

This was an interesting fantasy novel about leprechauns and their society. The first half of the book takes place in the past. I really enjoyed the Irish folktale-vibes from the first half. The second half takes place in the present, and felt a bit slower.

I split this one between reading and audio. The narrator is great, with a lovely Irish accent, which was a perfect fit for the story. If you read it, try to get the audio/text version, or just the audio version, because the narrator made the book even better.

What a whimsical ride! The story was a refreshing leprechaun tale that was so fun to read. The ending seemed a bit rushed, but overall I would definitely recommend!
