I give up, I guess chick lit is not for me. I found the 55 pages I read to be a depressing british version of me, except I actually like my children most of the time.....

I think I'm 10 years too late for this.

This was much better than I expected it to be. Very readable and scattered throughout, some really good insights. Parts were difficult to read because they brought back painful memories, but overall, I liked this a lot.

I started this book because the "movie of the book" club I run is going to see the movie. Because I did not finish the book I am not rating it. I read about one third of it and decided I'd had enough. It's not poorly written but it did not hold my interest. I'm sure it would have resonated with me more if I were a married, working mother of two.

So funny and entertaining. Enjoyed it so much. Been long I read a chicklit quite refreshing like this.

I would have given this book more stars if reading it hadn't stressed me out so much. :-) To close to my life.
