They brought the Wisconsin cops back! This made me really happy. I loved them in the first book, but I figured that they were just extra characters for that book. I am so happy I was wrong. Although Mike and Bonar are very similar to Magozzi and Gino, they are different enough to play off each other well. This was the first book in the series were I really liked Grace. Anytime someone did not want to follow her, I thought, "idiot." Great book! I definitely recommend this series to mystery/thriller novel lovers out there!

I really enjoy PJ Tracy mysteries - they are fast-paced and fun. While I liked Monkeewrench and Live Bait more, I still found myself turning pages at an alarming rate and finishing within a couple of sittings. On to the next...

Intense and captivating, I read this book in about and hour and a half because I could't put it down. I totally reminded me of why I like mystery novels, and If this is supposed to be a dud in the series then I can't wait to read the first few.

Another Monkeewrench hit. This time the location is Wisconsin. Fast paced, fun yet serious - a perfect thriller with a cast of characters I am getting very attached too. Written by a mother-daughter duo. If you enjoy thrilling mysteries with a bit of fun, intricate plotting and great locations try this series. I need to go order #4 in the series. It is even available through the library.
