Maude is Back! In this collection of stories, we learn more about how Maude was as a young woman through dream flashbacks. She is traveling on her dream trip to South Africa and can't quite figure out why all her old memories keep flooding back. I enjoyed this even more than the first as the majority of the book is on one big story vs. a bunch of one-off shorts. I do recommend reading the 1st set of stories in An Elderly Lady is Up to No Good as it is helpful to fill in some things addressed in this second novel. I could not put this book down!

This wasn’t quite as… ruthlessly murderous as the first book, which knocks it down a bit rating wise. Maud is a bit… nicer in this book and feels a little odd. She ends the book by doing something really nice for other people… it just feels weird. Still enjoyable but feels different than the first book.
