The fans of the original manga series are probably the target audience, whereas I watched the anime mostly for the sake of finishing it. I was intrigued by the idea of a superhero society, though, and I started reading Vigilantes in the hopes that this series would take a different approach to it. Unfortunately nothing much happened in the first volume, so it’s hard to say if that will be the case. The main characters, esp. the unsurprisingly oversexualized teenage female lead, seem somewhat average and boring, but them being non-OP vigilantes is promising. My hopes are pretty low but I'm still willing to give vol. 2 a shot.

Holy shit, I knew I was gonna like this but I had no honest clue how much I was going to fall in love with this from the off. This is so good, so worth looking into, and I'm excited to continue with it as soon as I'm able!

I wasn't sure if I was going to like the spin off as much because it's written by a different person, but it's still a lot of fun! It's a bit chaotic, but it's kind of cool that it slightly ties in with the regular BNHA timeline a little with the drugs and all. It's also nice seeing more from the pro heroes. I'm definitely interested to see where this goes.

While I liked seeing more of the side heroes like Eraserhead and Present Mic and the new vigilantes were ok for a first volume. the story it self seemed unconnected or like they just happened to be there so they helped and I never really got any idea what the over all goal of them was other than fight crime. Not sure if ill pick up volume number 2 due to the problems but seeing Eraserhead made this volume so much fun.

A very promising start to a spin off series. The characters are interesting and I think with further development they will be very entertaining. It is good to see a different side to the My Hero Academia world. Definitely rooting for the downtrodden seeming main character.
