Creo que no hay libro que más me haya inquietado como lo ha hecho este. He estado estos días enganchadísima y de lo más tensa. Reid sabe construir con muchísimo tino esa atmósfera de desasosiego para que uno no sepa qué pensar exactamente.

Es cierto que el último tercio, el de la gran revelación, me había dejado algo desorientada, pero sigue siendo una novela estupenda con reflexiones interesantísimas acerca de la soledad, de las relaciones, de conocerse a uno mismo y a los demás... Me ha resultado una gran y grata sorpresa.

This book starts out and has a lot of potential.... and then it takes a giant swan dive off a mountain and goes straight to the pooper. I found the narrative here both annoying, and in many instances drawn out and unnecessary. I think this book is a 5 star short story. Cut out all the excess and give it straight up and this would be effective, but delivered in this way it’s at best a 2 star. And more than a bit of a waste of time.
