Took me a year to finish this book. So 90's. Empty, blatant, shallow characters, wittier in story-telling. Themes: abuse and perversion. Everyone is fooling everyone. Reader has an easy task to moralise every character in this story. And that makes a book boring.

This book sucks. None of the jokes are funny, it's way too long and if you don't see the plot twist coming by the 50th page, you must be Martin Amis

Really enjoyed this, but not convinced I fully understand the ending...

I don't know why I kept going until the end.
I hated the characters and I didn't see the point of the story. I'm sure I can take out some conclusions about humanity or whatever the hell, but I really just want to be done with this book. Not for me, though I can see it has its fans.
