usually i find this type of cerebral / experimental(?) poetry too impenetrable to enjoy, but the “narrative” here was compelling enough to make this a thrilling read.

Wonderful first third, mediocre rest to the point that I was skimming. Was going to go with a 2.5, but I really enjoy those first eight or so tangos. The macrostructure seems messy to me. If it is fiction, the narrative is trite. If it is essay, the argument is unclear. If considered as both simultaneously, nothing changes.
I do have more of an interest in reading Keats though.
